A Reisetaler goes on a journey

In this game, you follow the journey of Reisetalers around the world. A Reisetaler is something like a coin with a QR code. You leave such a Reisetaler somewhere, hoping that an unknown finder will discover it and take it with them. Each finder scans the QR code and may leave an entry in the travel diary. At another location, the Reisetaler is left behind again. The journey continues...

Game rules

This is a game! This game is about letting Reisetaler travel around the world and tracking their journey. By recording new diary entries, the journey continues. Site visitors and friends can follow the journey. In addition, every Reisetaler has a sponsor. The sponsor has control over the Reisetaler and can edit it.

  1. Take the Reisetaler with you on your journey
The Reisetaler accompanies you as long as you like.
  2. Save places on the travel route
At each new location, you save the position in the travel diary for the route. Add pictures and thoughts to make the travel diary more interesting.
  3. Pass on the Reisetaler
If you like, pass the Reisetaler on to someone else or leave it somewhere. Others will continue the journey.

It is only about the fun of it. No personal data is collected and nobody is tracked. It is free to play!
